Mario Ojeda is the founder and CEO | Managing Broker for Ojeda Lazar Real Estate Inc. He started his career in real estate in 2004 and started working as a Realtor with the boutique firm Carson Realty Group where he quickly became a respected professional. Within only a couple years, Mario got the title of Director of Sales for the company’s flagship project City 24. He learned the business in a boutique firm environment which allowed him to explore his talents and gain the necessary knowledge to get to the next level.
In 2010 Mario joined the well known NY firm Douglas Elliman where under a corporate structure Mario learned the business in a way that helped him flourish. He became a Top Producing Realtor being in the Top 10 for the two years he was with the company. He was later sought after by Engel & Völkers, the world renowned German luxury real estate company, to become the Executive Vice President and top Realtor for the Miami firm’s Miami Beach office. He was the top producing agent for that office until the end of 2014 when he decided to launch his own firm in 2015. With over 10 years of experience at that time and success in real estate, opening his own firm was the next obvious choice for Mario.
In 2017 he decided to open his first retail location in the Upper Eastside and by design wants to maintain a boutique style firm with a few top producing agents. Mario believes in “quality over quantity” and having worked in the mega firms with over 100 agents, knows the difference a Broker’s personal touch and attention to detail can make. He helps his agents flourish by guiding them every step of the way and being there for them when needed. Mario is currently the #1 Realtor on Zillow for the North Beach area and Ojeda Lazar is also gaining market share in the Upper Eastside. Mario’s goal is to maintain a small firm environment while providing his clients with his trademark service going “beyond excellence.”
Mario has earned the coveted CLHMS designation (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) from the prestigious Institute for Luxury Home Marketing which is considered by many the authority in Luxury Real Estate marketing. This designation is given only to Realtors who have demonstrated successful performance in the upper tier market. Mario is also proficient in Commercial real estate working on multi-million dollar transactions, he has the ACP certification specializing in retail and income producing properties.
Mario attended Hawaii Pacific University where he studied Marketing/Business and minored in Communications.He also earned a graduate level certificate from MIT in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment.
